The purpose of this agreement is to communicate our mutual expectations during the Renewing Us Couples Retreat. Please raise any questions you have before signing to make sure we are on the same page moving forward. You can contact us at [email protected]

In exchange for being allowed to participate in the Renewing Us Couples Retreat, you agree to be bound to the following terms. 

This agreement is made between The Raabsmith Team, Inc, operating in the State of Tennessee (“Renewing Us Retreats", “we”, “us”, and “our”) and you, the undersigned (electronically or by hand) or person who has clicked “I Agree” to this agreement (“you” and “your”).

1. Reservations and Payments

Full payment for the cost of the retreat will be due at time of reservation. Please note that we are unable to hold spaces without payment or assign rooms based on participant requests except in the case of ADA compliant rooms. 

2. Refunds & Cancellations

All payments are non-refundable and we are not able to accept cancellations at this time because of the limited size of this event. Please check your calendar and travel schedule before registration. If a guest leaves during the retreat, there will be no refund. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of your booking so you are protected in the event you need to cancel.

The Raabsmith Team reserves the right to cancel the retreat. In this event, we will provide either retreat credit or full refund. If The Raabsmith Team cancels a retreat for any reason, including Force Majeure, The Raabsmith Team is not responsible for loss of funds in association with travel accommodations made by the guest. 

3. Travel Arrangements

You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and details for the retreat. You are responsible for booking flights to the retreat and transportation throughout. We are not responsible if you are refused entry into the country because of incorrect travel documents or if flight delays prevent your attendance. These circumstances will not result in a refund.

4. No Guarantees

The Raabsmith Team makes no guarantees that you will get any specific results from your participation in the retreat. We do, however, promise that we will try our best to do everything to ensure you have the most wonderful experience. Participants are reminded that this is not a therapeutic intensive and during the event we are not able to provide direct coaching or counseling. 

All of the content that will be provided to you, including but not limited to videos, documents, and PDFs, are for your use only and are not to be re-distributed or re-used. 

6. Right to Privacy

No identifying information or images will be shared by this organization without the express written permission of each participant. Please note that this event will share facilities with other guests and events. Please speak with our team if you have any privacy concerns.

Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of a retreat, or to send you marketing material in relation to our events and special offers. This information will not be shared or sold to other parties.

8. Personal Responsibility and Health Concerns

Each guest assumes full responsibility for their personal health during the retreat and is expected to be courteous to others' health concerns. By booking this retreat, you confirm that you are in good health and capable of participating in the activities. You are also confirming that you are able to care for yourself during the trip and do not have any medical conditions that could cause risk for yourself or others during the trip. 

You hereby fully indemnify The Raabsmith Team and any of its members, directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, executors, administrators, successors, family members, and assigns (the “Indemnified Parties”) and save harmless the Indemnified Parties from any losses, claims, damages, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses that an Indemnified Party may sustain, incur or suffer at any time, either during or after the Term, which are based upon, arise out of or occur, directly or indirectly, by reason of any act or omission by you in participating in the retreat, provided that where The Raabsmith Team has contributed to such liability by its own negligent conduct, your indemnity obligation will be limited proportionately.

10. Standard Legal Arrangements

This agreement will be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Tennessee. The parties agree to irrevocably submit all claims to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Tennessee.

Severability: If any provisions of this agreement are invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions in the agreement will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and replaces any prior agreements.

Waiver of Breach: The waiver by me of any breach by you of any provision of this agreement will not be taken to be a waiver of any further breaches by you.

Notice: For the purpose of this agreement, e-mail or text will suffice for written notice when required as set out above.

Headings: The headings used in this agreement are for stylistic purposes only and none of the content in the headings are intended to be legally binding.

Counterparts: This agreement may be signed by any number of counterparts, each of which is an original, and all of which taken together constitute one single document.

Online agreement: We agree that this agreement may be signed electronically or agreed to by having you click “I Agree”, the effect of which will be the same as if we signed the agreement by hand and the intention of which is that both parties desire to be bound by all the terms of the agreement.
